3 Ingredient Easy Vegan Strawberry Jam

This homemade 3-ingredient vegan strawberry jam recipe is made up of fresh strawberries, maple syrup and lemon juice. It takes less than 20 minutes to make and creates the perfect amount so you can have fresh jam for breakfast every day this week!

Ingredients
 

  • 1 pound Fresh Strawberries
  • ¼ cup Agave or Maple Syrup
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice plus zest

Instructions

  • Wash and pat dry the fresh strawberries. Chop the strawberries in to small pieces and add to a sauce pan over medium heat. Cook for 10 minutes.
  • Gently mash the strawberries with a fork or potato masher in to a chunky texture.
  • Stir in the sweetener, lemon juice and lemon zest and continue to cook for another 5 to 7 minutes.
  • Allow to cool completely before using- keep it mind that the jam will thicken as it cools.

Notes

Store in the fridge in an airtight jar and use within a week.
