  • 3 large Lemons peeled

  • 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper
  • Pinch of Black Pepper

  • ½ cup Water

  • Strain the juice through a fine-mesh strainer or a nut milk bag into a measuring cup or bowl. Use a spoon or squeeze the nut milk bag to strain out as much juice as possible then discard the pulp
  • Each shot should be 2-ounces.
  • Store the remaining wellness shots in an airtight jar for up to 3 days.

Notes

Ginger shots have a lot of benefits and make me feel great when I'm feeling a little under the weather. But I'm not a doctor so please always consult with a medical professional before taking ginger shots if you have any questions or concerns.
Use fresh ingredients when possible: Use fresh lemons and ginger for the best flavor and health benefits. Turmeric root is a little harder to find so I often use ground turmeric instead.
