Guacamole without Tomatoes

This chunky, fresh, and creamy Guacamole is the perfect crowd-pleasing appetizer or side dish. Simple, healthy, and made without tomatoes!

Ingredients
 

  • 4 Large Ripe Avocados
  • cup White Onion diced
  • ¼ cup Cilantro finely chopped
  • 1 Small Jalapeño minced
  • 1 Garlic Clove minced
  • 2 tablespoons Lime Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Kosher Salt more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper more to taste

Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine the avocados, white onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, jalapeño, salt, and pepper.
  • Mash until the ingredients are combined but still chunky. Season to taste.
  • Taste and adjust the following: Lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
  • Enjoy as a topping for tacos, nachos, and burritos, or with tortilla chips!

Notes

Important Note: Not all salts are made equal and cannot be substituted 1:1. If you are substituting table salt for kosher salt, you will need to cut the amount called for in the recipe by at least half.
