In a large bowl, combine the avocados, white onion, cilantro, garlic, lime juice, jalapeño, salt, and pepper.
Mash until the ingredients are combined but still chunky. Season to taste.
Taste and adjust the following:Lime juice, salt, and black pepper.
Enjoy as a topping for tacos, nachos, and burritos, or with tortilla chips!
Notes
Important Note:Not all salts are made equal and cannot be substituted 1:1. If you are substituting table salt for kosher salt, you will need to cut the amount called for in the recipe by at least half.
