Ingredients

  • ½ cup Creamy Natural Peanut Butter
  • 3 tablespoons Low-Sodium Soy Sauce
  • 2 tablespoons Fresh Lime Juice
  • 2 tablespoons Rice Vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Toasted Sesame Oil
  • 2 Garlic Cloves minced
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Ginger grated
  • 2 teaspoons Chili Garlic Sauce or Sambal Oelek
  • 2-4 tablespoons Warm Water to preference, see note
  • Pinch Kosher Salt to taste

Instructions

  • Add the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, rice vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili garlic sauce, and salt to a medium bowl.
  • Whisk until smooth and combined.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of warm water and continue whisking. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
  • Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.

Notes

The exact amount of water needed will vary depending on the brand of peanut butter you're using.
For a thicker dipping sauce, use less water. For noodles, salads, and grain bowls, add a little extra water for a thinner, more pourable consistency.
