This easy vegan peanut sauce is creamy, tangy, slightly sweet, and ready in just 5 minutes. Made with peanut butter, lime juice, fresh ginger, garlic, and soy sauce, it's perfect for noodles, tofu, grain bowls, spring rolls, and more.
Add the peanut butter, soy sauce, lime juice, rice vinegar, maple syrup, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, chili garlic sauce, and salt to a medium bowl.
Whisk until smooth and combined.
Add 2 tablespoons of warm water and continue whisking. Add more water, 1 tablespoon at a time, until the sauce reaches your desired consistency.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 1 week.
Notes
The exact amount of water needed will vary depending on the brand of peanut butter you're using.For a thicker dipping sauce, use less water. For noodles, salads, and grain bowls, add a little extra water for a thinner, more pourable consistency.
