Ingredients

  • 3 cups Old Fashioned Oats
  • 1 ½ cup Slivered Almonds
  • ¼ cup Hemp Seeds
  • 2 tablespoon Chia Seeds
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ½ cup Maple Syrup or Agave
  • ¼ cup Freshly Squeezed Orange Juice
  • ¼ cup Olive Oil or Coconut Oil
  • Chocolate Chunks
  • Dried Cranberries
  • Zest of 1 Orange

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 300F.
  • Stir together the oats, almonds, hemp seeds, chia seeds and salt in a large bowl.
  • Whisk together the orange juice, maple syrup, and olive oil in a smaller bowl. Pour the wet mixture in to a dry mixture and stir until evenly coated.
  • Transfer the granola to a large baking tray or on two baking trays to make sure everything evenly browns. Pat down the granola with your spatula and bake for 40-45 minutes or until golden brown. Stir the granola after 25 minutes and keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't burn. Every oven is different. When it's golden brown, it's done. Keep in mind the granola will become crunchier when cooled.
  • When the granola is fresh out of the oven, add the chocolate chunks, cranberries, and orange zest. Stir just a few times to combine and then let it cool completely. Transfer to jars and store in the fridge. Enjoy!

Notes

Store granola in the fridge for 1-2 weeks.
