Green Goddess Tahini Dressing

Fresh herbs, olive oil, lemon juice, and tahini come together in under 10 minutes to create this creamy Green Goddess Tahini Dressing! It isn't just great on salads– it also works well as a dip for fresh veggies and a creamy sauce for drizzling on grain bowls.

Ingredients
 

  • ½ cup Tahini
  • ¼ cup Plant-Based Milk unsweetened
  • 2 tablespoons Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoons Lemon Juice
  • ½ teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Kosher Salt see note
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Kale or spinach
  • cup Cilantro
  • cup Parsley
  • 2 Green Onions white and green parts
  • 2-4 tablespoons Water or more plant-based milk

Instructions

  • Add the tahini, plant-based milk, olive oil, lemon juice, garlic powder, kosher salt, and black pepper to a blender.
  • Add in the chopped kale, parsley, cilantro, green onions, and 2 tablespoons of water. Blend until smooth. To thin it out or help with blending, add the remaining 2 tablespoons of water.
  • Taste and adjust the following: salt, black pepper, and lemon juice.
  • Serve on salads, sandwiches, wraps, or grain bowls. Enjoy!

Notes

Important Note about Salt: Not all salts are made equal and cannot be substituted 1:1. If you are substituting table salt for kosher salt, you will need to cut the amount called for in the recipe by at least half. 
 
If your tahini sauce is too bitter, balance it with more lemon juice and 1-2 teaspoons of maple syrup. Tahini can sometimes taste bitter from the type of sesame seeds used, their roasting level, or the presence of the seed's outer hull during processing.
