Start your day with a burst of energy with these homemade Pineapple Ginger Shots. Easy to make, more affordable than store-bought, no juicer required and fully customizable!
Combine the lemons, pineapple, and ginger into a blender. I suggest peeling most of the lemon, but I like to leave the ginger skin on (just give it a good scrub!)
Then, add in the turmeric, cayenne pepper, black pepper, mineral salt, and water.
Blend until relatively smooth, but expect some texture to remain.
Pour it through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a measuring cup or bowl. Use a spoon or gently squeeze the nut milk bag to extract as much juice as possible, then discard the pulp.
Store the remaining wellness shots in an airtight jar for up to 3-4 days. Each shot should be 2 ounces.
Notes
Ginger shots have a lot of benefits and give me a boost of energy in the morning. But I'm not a doctor so please always consult with a medical professional before taking ginger shots if you have any questions or concerns.
