Ingredients

  • 4 Lemons peeled
  • 1 ½ cups Cubed Pineapple
  • 3 ounces Ginger about ¾ cup
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Turmeric
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne Pepper more to preference
  • Pinch of Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Mineral Salt optional
  • ½ cup Water

Instructions

  • Combine the lemons, pineapple, and ginger into a blender. I suggest peeling most of the lemon, but I like to leave the ginger skin on (just give it a good scrub!)
  • Then, add in the turmeric, cayenne pepper, black pepper, mineral salt, and water.
  • Blend until relatively smooth, but expect some texture to remain.
  • Pour it through a fine-mesh strainer or nut milk bag into a measuring cup or bowl. Use a spoon or gently squeeze the nut milk bag to extract as much juice as possible, then discard the pulp.
  • Store the remaining wellness shots in an airtight jar for up to 3-4 days. Each shot should be 2 ounces.

Notes

Ginger shots have a lot of benefits and give me a boost of energy in the morning. But I'm not a doctor so please always consult with a medical professional before taking ginger shots if you have any questions or concerns.
