Having a small party or a date night in? This Whipped Vegan Feta w/ Spicy Maple Drizzle will be the talk of the snack table! It’s sooo good and requires no cooking! Toss the ingredients in a blender and top with the spicy maple drizzle, that’s it! Fluffy, creamy, and rich in flavorful with a complementary sweet and spicy topping. It’s a winner combo! Serve with toasted bread, toasted pita, or fresh crisp vegetables.

Main Ingredients:

  • Violife Vegan Feta
  • Vegan Cream Cheese
  • Firm Tofu
  • Garlic
  • Lemon Zest
  • Maple Syrup
  • Hot Sauce

Substitutions:

I can’t recommend any substitutions for this one as not all vegan feta is created equal. The only one I can back up is from the brand Violife. As for the cream cheese, any cream cheese will work here. I used Tofutti. For the tofu, medium firm is best for the right texture. Silken will make the final product too soft. We want some body and the firm tofu gives it that.

For the hot sauce, I used Frank’s Hot Sauce but any hot sauce that you enjoy will work. Add as much as desired but I found that 1 teaspoon was good.

Tips & Tricks:

Using a food processor will give the best results but you can also use a nutribullet (it’s what I used!!). Just be sure not to over blend. Once it’s combined and whipped in texture, stop blending.

Whipped Vegan Feta

  • 1 Block Violife Vegan Feta Cheese
  • Half a Block of Firm Tofu
  • 1/4 cup Vegan Cream Cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • Zest of 1 Lemon
  • 2 teaspoons Lemon Juice
  • 1 Garlic Clove
  • 3/4 teaspoons Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • Pinch of Red Pepper Flakes

Spicy Maple Drizzle: 

  • 2 tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • 12 teaspoons Hot Sauce

For Serving:

  • Baguette or Crusty Bread
  • Chopped Parsley
  • Cayenne Pepper

Instructions

  1. In a blender or food processor, add all of the whipped feta ingredients. Blend until smooth and whipped. Remove from blender and spread out on a serving dish. Use the back of a spoon to create a swirl.
  2. Whisk together the maple syrup and hot sauce. Drizzle the maple syrup in the swirl. Top with cayenne pepper and chopped parsley. Serve with grilled or toasted baguette and enjoy!
